It was a busy week for our editor… First, an alien spacecraft landed on his front lawn (don’t you hate it when that happens?). And then, things got weird… Bill was duty-bound to explain the ins and outs of today’s phony money system to the alien visitors: “FacebookCoin”… why WeWork’s “spirituality” justifies its astronomical valuation… and even the unsurprising reversal of one Jerome Powell. “It’s a breakdown… er… breakthrough of the universe,” say the little green men. They had it right the first time…

image The Fed Just Did the Thinkable
On Friday, the utterly predictable happens. The Fed’s top man, Jerome Powell, says that the Fed’s key rate – barely above the rate of inflation – is too high! Yes, Dear Reader. It truly is “Inflate or Die.” And America’s central bank isn’t ready to kick the bucket just yet…

Bill famously referred to Amazon as the “River of No Returns.” But Jeff Brown, Bill’s top tech expert, has a different view. He thinks Amazon is a great buy. Who’s right? Read on and decide for yourself…
